15 years experience in the Motorsport arena coupled with almost twenty years involvement in major business focused IT projects, Peter O'Doherty started Inis Motorsport. Initially as a team in the early 1990’s competing at club and national level with forays at international events. In late 2002 while competing at National level in Karting an opening in the technology market for motorsport was uncovered by the team Principal. Inis Motorsport Ltd’s software division was started.
Since then Inis Motorsport Ltd has launched a number of significant products for the Motorsport Event Manager and facility owner, including;

Inis Motorsport became a Limited company in 2005 and is has plans to significantly expand the range of and products and services on offer to motorsport operators and event organisers. Having recently received funding from the Department of Trade and Enterprise, trough the South Cork Enterprise Board, plans are well under way to increase export orders significantly in the near future.

Peter’s success in previous organisations includes a ranking in the top 30 fastest growing in the Deloitte Fast 50 rankings for Irish IT companies. In addition Peter’s research into IT Project Management in association with the local University, has been published in many languages. Peter started Inis Motorsport and went full time in 2004 deciding that IT use in the Motorsport Market justified a provider with a professional approach. He continues to work as a consultant to various organisations and on certain projects outside motorsport, serving long-time customers.
